Vladimir Putins mouthpiece vows Russian takeover of Germany Berlin Will Burn

One of Vladimir Putin’s staunch allies – influential Russian broadcaster Vladimir Solovyov – launched an explosive tirade in which he vowed Moscow would take over Germany.

Solovyov hosts a politics show on the Kremlin-controlled Russia-1 channel. He is known for his bizarre threats against the West and appears to have a particular penchant for Germany after Berilin’s steadfast support for Ukraine.

His most recent German target was Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock who he savaged on his TV show.

He branded Baerbock a “crazy fool” and a “German idiot” before claiming that Russia would take over the country and burn down Berlin.

He said: “You’ll see how, due to your corrupt stupidity, Annalena Baerbock, Berlin will burn and there will be a Victory Banner over the Reichstag [parliament building].”

He then attacked the official personally, saying: “Because you are a dumb broad trying to avenge your grandmother’s husband, but not your grandfather, who fought against Soviet soldiers in Koenigsberg. Well, you stupid idiot, it’s Kaliningrad now.”

Solovyov finished his tirade by asking: “Who gave you the right to plunge the German people into this terrible fire of war?”

The rant came as Baerbock said on Monday that Germany would continue to support Ukraine through the winter before offering “massively expanded” support next year.

Speaking on the sidelines of a summit in Brussels, she said: “We will not only continue our support for Ukraine, we will continue to expand and increase it, especially on the part of the Federal Republic of Germany, not only with a view to the winter defence for the coming weeks and months, when it is clear that the Russian president will once again exploit the needs of the people in the cold winter.”

Putin’s forces have targeted Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure over winter in the past plunging cities into darkness and turning off the heat for thousands.

Germany has become one of Ukraine’s top supporters providing weapons and equipment, souring relations with Moscow – something likely to continue after the pledge of more support.
