Prince Louis was "upset" not to attend the final of Wimbledon 2023, according to Kate Middleton.
The youngest of the Prince and Princess of Wales' brood missed out on Saturday's (July 15) epic showdown which saw Carlos Alcaraz beat Novak Djokovic and bag his first title in the world-famous competition, reports the Mirror.
Before the match, Kate told one of the officials how Louis, five, had wanted to join his brother and sister, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in the stadium.

However, it is understood he was deemed too young.
Kate, 41, said: "It's Charlotte's first time, George came last year. They've been eagerly watching. Charlotte you’ve been getting to grips with the scoring. Louis was very upset he wasn’t coming today."
Louis has reportedly become so invested in the sport he's even been practicing his own tennis skills.
Kate also told 16-year-old ball boy Joel that Louis had been studying his craft.
"He [Louis] tries to practise the standing and staying serious, like us," said Joel.

"He tries to practise the stands and how we stand at the back of the court and next to the players."
Princess Charlotte's first-ever trip to Wimbledon went off without a hitch after she was spotted holding Kate's hand and sporting a blue dress.
The mother-daughter duo could be seen walking ahead of George and William to the Players' Lawn, where they greeted Wimbledon staff, police dog Stella and British wheelchair doubles champion Gordon Reid.
The Waleses sat in the Royal Box and the two children both punched the air when world number one Alcaraz beat four-time Wimbledon champ Djokovic to first place.
After the match, both players bowed before Kate and given their winner and runner-up trophies.
Alcaraz, 20, said in his on-court interview how "special" it was to play in front of royalty, including the King of his home country, Felipe VI of Spain.
"When I played in front of you, twice that I won. I hope that you are coming more," he said of his nation's monarch.
