Women describe Pfizer boob job as possible jab side effect sees busts swell

Women are reporting larger busts as an unexpected side effect from having the Pfizer vaccine.

Globally, swollen breasts have been claimed by women after having their jabs which has led to it being branded the “Pfizer boob job”.

People may come away from having a jab with a sore throat or other flu-like symptoms but swollen breasts can also happen, say health experts.

The Australian Department of Health has reportedly said that inflamed lymph nodes are a less common side effect of the vaccinations.

In the United States, women have been worried that their swollen breasts are a sign of cancer and have been going for scans in increasing numbers.

Doctors in the US have reportedly seen an influx of women who have been recently vaccinated asking for mammograms.

Dr Laura Esserman, director of University of California San Francisco’s Breast Care Center, said there was confusion over the reason for the swollen lymph nodes.

“I’m sure hundreds of thousands of women will be affected by this for sure,” she told ABC7 Chicago.

When people have a jab in their upper arm it is normal for lymph nodes in the armpit to swell as part of an immune response, it is reported.

A study published by the Radiological Society of North America recently found that vaccine-induced lymphadenopathy was an important side effect to be aware of as it could lead to false cancer diagnosis.

It is considered to be a temporary affect and women over 50 in Australia are being advised to have a mammogram before a vaccine or wait six weeks until after it.

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists has reportedly said that this kind of swelling has not been found so far with the AstraZeneca vaccine.
