Woman hospitalised after being shot in West London

A woman has been rushed to hospital after she was shot in West London.

The shooting occurred at around 11.50pm on Friday night, according to City of Westminster Police.

The victim is believed to be in her 30s, and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. Police are currently awaiting an update on her condition.

The shooting reportedly occurred on Harrow Road, in Kensal Green.

A crime scene remains in place on the busy street.

There have not yet been any arrests in relation to the shooting, and witnesses are urged to contact the authorities.

MOS Westminster said on Twitter: "A woman aged in her 30s was shot at around 11.50pm in Harrow Rd near junction with Ashmore Rd. She was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

"We await an update on her condition. A crime scene is in place. No arrest. Witnesses pls call 101 ref 8710/11Sep."
