Two holiday shoppers were caught on camera allegedly fighting over a PS5 video game console at a Walmart store.
The brawl unfolded at a Walmart near Charlotte in North Carolina on December 13 while the two women were queueing at the counters.
Viral video shared on social media captures a woman in long braided hair arguing with another woman who wears a black Nike hoodie.
It is not clear what their conversations are but one is heard saying: "What the f*** are you gonna do?"
The confrontation escalates that at one point, a man riding in a mobility scooter stands up and attempts to separate the pair.
The two women end up throwing punches and kicks at each other while other unfazed shoppers watch on and film the fight.
Soon, the woman in long braids is dragged to the floor, brutally punched in the face and stomped on the head.
She appears to be knocked out cold as other Walmart shoppers grab the other woman away from the scene.
Local law enforcement told TMZ that they responded to the fight but no one was arrested or cited, as the two women involved in the fight both left the scene by the time they arrived.
This is the second incident in a week where gaming enthusiasts have got into a brawl over the coveted console.
The police said on Thursday, December 17, a mother punched a police officer while holding her four-month-old baby inside a Walmart in Florida after she had been told the PS5 console had sold out.
It came after Sony confirmed the PlayStation 5 was their biggest ever launch and promised more stock to desperate shoppers.
Sony said in a statement that they thanked “gamers everywhere for making the PS5 launch our biggest console launch ever".
"Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year – please stay in touch with your local retailers," they added.
