Transgender TikTok star receives £20k from fans to fund surgery

Transgender TikTok star, Nosebleedfitz reached her £20k goal on GoFundMe to pay for gender reassignment surgery.

Bella Misandria Wardle Fitzpatrick, 19, created the fundraising page for her transition in January 2021 after sharing her journey as a transgender woman on the popular video app.

In just under three months, Bella's generous fans have donated enough money to fund her entire transition including hormones and any surgeries that she's choosing to have.

She has now managed to have her first appointment at a gender clinic to begin the process and bypasses the NHS waiting lists which are currently estimated to be around three years.

"My socks have just been blown completely off," she told the Daily Star.

"I truly can't thank everyone enough for donating. My entire transition has been paid for."

She went on: "I know I'm very privileged to have the platform that I have, and having such a high following for around eight months before I made the page definitely helped.

"I want everyone to know just how much I appreciate it. I've never directly asked anyone to donate to it, I just made the page and everyone has been amazing and so supportive."

Bella, who first realised she was transgender in February 2019, said there was "never a question" about whether her gender identity wouldn't be supported by her fans or her family.

She claims everyone she has come out to has been "completely amazing about it".

The Carlisle based influencer currently boasts over 540k on her main TikTok account where she has posted viral videos on being transgender and her thoughts on any topic – one of her most popular videos was actually about black holes in the ocean.
