Mobile network giant Three is reportedly down for thousands of customers, causing communication issues across the country.
Downdetector has received thousands of reports from customers without mobile coverage starting from around 5am this morning.
By 8.45am around 1,500 people had reported issues.
Three acknowledged the issue this morning in a statement.
'"Please accept our apologies if you've been affected by this, our engineers are working hard to fix it," the company said.
"Check back here for updates."
The network meltdown follows major global outages for social media giants Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Snapchat over the past week and a half.
Customers have rushed to Twitter to vent their frustration at the mobile giant.
One user tweeted: "@ThreeUK what is going on I can’t make or receive calls. Either using normal methods or WiFi calling."
Another wrote: "Any ideas how long until full service is going to resume? I can’t make any calls, text etc. Our whole family can only use iMessage."
A third said: "'@ThreeUKSupport all of our phone [sic] on the Three network are not able to make or receive calls.
"Cannot use live chat to support, cannot call three support from another network."

Just yesterday, picture communication giant Snapchat experienced an outage that lasted almost four hours – leaving disgruntled users unable to send and receive photos.
And just over a week ago, all Facebook-owned apps went down for almost seven hours in the biggest outage in the company's history.
WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Facebook Messenger all spectacularly went down on October 4.
Mark Zuckerburg's company owned up to the fault, claiming a faulty update disconnected Facebook's servers from the internet and brought all of its services to a grinding halt.
