Firefighters are dealing with a major incident after a suspected gas explosion caused a terrace house to collapse.
Locals residents in the area have been evacuated as fire crews investigate the area and look through the rubble.
There are currently ten fire engines at the scene with multiple fire crews dealing with the emergency.
In a statement from Lancashire Police a spokesperson said: "We are currently at the scene of a suspected gas explosion on Littledale Avenue, Heysham.
"A safety cordon has been put in place and nearby residents have been evacuated. We are asking people to please avoid the entire area while we deal with this ongoing incident."
It appears that Lancashire Fire and Rescue were called to the incident in the early hours of this morning.
As well as residents being evacuated Electricity North West have confirmed that they have cut off supplies in the area.
