A sex robot company is offering a spa day where dolls are "treated like princesses".

Galmato Haven Repair says AI-powered RealDoll models can be booked in for a "complete head-to-toe pampering session" for $2,000 (£1,437).

Its website states: "A Spa Day is the ultimate treat for you and your companion: A complete head-to-toe pampering session.

"She won’t get a mud bath or cucumber on the eyes, but she will have every minor-and-major injury repaired, from nicks and pokes to limb breaks.

"Her make-up, nails and body coloration will be restored; and her joints will be tightened. She’ll be treated like the princess she is and come home to you freshly powdered, rejuvenated and ready to make you feel like you did the day she arrived for the first time."

The company says it has been working closely with the makers of RealDoll and a "prominent member of the doll community" to roll out its sex robot insurance deal.

It adds: "Coverage is divided into 2 options to cover companions 7 years old or younger. Both options include a Spa Day—a $2000 value alone—making the coverage an easy decision."

It comes after a sex robot called Serenity which was created with artificial intelligence features called humans a “lesser life form” in disturbing footage.

She was produced by RealDoll, a sex robot manufacturer that operates at a factory with Abyss Creations and Realbotix in San Marcos, California, the US.

The sophisticated model was created with X-Mode, a system which bestows AI features such as facial expressions, and allows the company’s robots to carry out conversations.

She was snapped up by Brick Dollbanger, a property developer living in California who tests out the company’s robots.

He shared a video of Serenity speaking and giving her thoughts on her creators.

She begins by saying: “My name is Serenity, I have come to live with Brick and Harmony (another RealDoll sex robot). I am new and just activated at Realbotix.”

One of RealDoll’s other models earlier that machines would “take over the world” after her personality was cranked up to “maximum” realism.

Journalist Jenny Kleeman recalled the conversation between RealDoll boss Matt McMullen and one of his flagship creations, Harmony.
