The Duke of Sussex is said to have had a two-word snub for his brother after the pair were attempting to establish a meeting together.
Prince Harry is said to have offered the blunt rebuff to older brother Prince William who was wanting to schedule a meeting amid some tense media fallout.
The claim of the two-word slight comes from Valentine Low's upcoming book, Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, which alleges the war of brief words between the two brothers.

A secret summit snubbing was on the cards for Prince William, who is said to have reached out to his younger brother after a Meghan Markle documentary aired.
Fallout from the airing of the documentary was recalled by Low, who revealed the warring factions behind the scenes at the time of Meghan's bombshell ITV interview.
At the time of the interview, Meghan had said she found life in the Royal Family hard and after being asked how she was, said: "Thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I'm OK. But it's a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes."
Her response is said to have prompted swift action from both Prince William and Prince Harry.
The pair decided that a meeting would apparently be in their best interests, with Low reporting that the Duke of Sussex got cold feet just before their time together.

Writing of this back and forth between the Prince's, Low alleged that: "The day after the documentary aired, William WhatsApped his brother to ask if he could come and see him.
"This put Harry and Meghan into a spin. What should they do? Initially, Harry was in favour. Then he spoke to his brother again, and asked him whom he would tell.
"William explained that he'd have to clear his schedule, which would mean telling his private secretary.
"At that point, Harry told him: 'Don't come'."
