Prince Harry is living the American dream after Superbowl appearance, say fans

Prince Harry is 'living the American dream' after making a surprise appearance at the Superbowl at the weekend, say royal fans.

The Duke of Sussex was spotted hanging out with cousin Princess Eugenie in a luxury box at the SoFi Stadium in California for the high-profile American football event on Sunday (13 February).

They both could be seen wearing face masks, following Covid guidance issued by California lawmakers that a number of celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres and Ben Affleck could be seen openly flouting inside the ground.

Much of the reaction was positive, and one Twitter user wrote: "#PrinceHarry living his American dream. Good to see his cousin there with him #PrincesEugenie".

While another Twitter user said: "Harry looks like a young American millionaire. Ha! Love it"

Others praised him for wearing a mask, with one commenting: "I don't really care about anything he does, but at least he has a 'mandated' mask on unlike the other Hollyweirds!"

Meghan Markle was notably absent from the American football event, with some questioning the Duchess's motives behind 'letting Harry off the leash' for a rare solo appearance.

Taking to Twitter, one woman said: "Harry at the Super Bowl with Eugenie and not Meghan. Was he let of the leash? Is he realising that life is not what it should! Unusual to see him without Megs!"

"It is not as if they do such a big thing without any thoughts behind it," another person added.

The prince reportedly went down to the LA Rams changing room after the game to congratulate the team for their dramatic win against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he also had a photo taken with singer Mickey Guyton.

Harry and Eugenie are known to be close, while the princess was reportedly friends with Meghan even before the Sussexes got together.
