Prince Harry ‘didn’t see George, Charlotte or Louis’ while in UK for funeral

Prince Harry did not go and visit his niece Princess Charlotte and nephews Prince George and Prince Louis while he was in the UK for his grandfather Prince Philip's funeral, it has been claimed.

The Duke of Sussex landed in the UK on Sunday, April 11 to join the Royal Family as they mourned the death of Prince Philip, who tragically passed away on Friday, April 9.

After attending the funeral, which was held in St George’s Chapel in Windsor on April 17, Harry returned to the US – which meant he missed the Queen's birthday on Wednesday.

And according to reports, other than attending the funeral and visiting his grandmother the Queen, Harry didn't leave Frogmore Cottage and so didn't see his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton's children.

"Harry didn’t get to see [Prince] George, [Princess] Charlotte and [Prince] Louis in the UK," a source told Us Weekly.

"Aside from the day of Philip’s funeral (which George, Charlotte, and Louis didn’t attend) and meeting privately with the Queen, he was in isolation at Frogmore [Cottage]."

Harry's pregnant wife Meghan Markle, who is expecting a baby girl later this year, was told by doctors not to travel to the UK for the funeral but did send a handwritten note and a wreath.

Previous reports have said Prince Harry "couldn't wait" to get back to the US to be home with his family following his UK visit.

And after nine days in the UK, a source close to the couple has claimed that Harry was eager to get back stateside.

"Harry couldn’t wait to return to his heavily pregnant wife and Archie," the insider said.

"[He] is happy to be back in Montecito."

Earlier this week a source also claimed that Meghan Markle and little Archie spoke to the Queen before Prince Philip's funeral.

The Duchess of Sussex reportedly spoke to the monarch ahead of the service and was in regular contact with husband Prince Harry and "knows this trip to England has been difficult for him".

A source told People: "Meghan and Harry have been in touch every day.

"She knows the trip to England has been difficult for Harry. He didn't want to leave Meghan and Archie alone.

"Meghan has insisted to him every day though that they are fine. She hasn't wanted him to worry."

They added: "Meghan spoke with Harry before his grandfather's funeral. Meghan and Archie also spoke with the Queen earlier this week."
