BBC Weather: Temperatures set to rise across UK

The Met Office has issued several snow, ice and wind warnings for parts of the UK this week. Several snow and ice warnings are active across Scotland today (Friday, February 12) until Saturday.

On Saturday, most of Northern Ireland and parts of Wales and western Scotland are under yellow snow and ice warnings over the course of Saturday. 

The Met Office has now issued additional weather warnings for Sunday as well.

Parts of western Scotland and Northern Ireland are under a yellow wind warning from 4am until 11.59pm on Sunday. 

The Met Office warning states some areas could see wind gusts as high as 80mph.
