Meghans acting background helped her keep calm at Queens Jubilee says expert

Meghan Markle is said to have used her acting background as a way to keep "calm and cool" during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex had her brush with acting during a seven-series stint on legal drama Suits, before she became a member of the Royal Family in 2018.

An etiquette coach has since said that Markle's presence on the long-running show will have helped her attitude during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, which she and Prince Harry attended.

They also said that the background had "helped her" navigate previous royal engagements and the pressures that run alongside them.

Royal expert Myka Meier discussed the cool and calm Markle appearance with Christina Garibaldi on an episode of US Weekly.

Garibaldi asked the expert: "They were, you know, booed when they went to the church [St Paul's], but how do you think that she [Meghan] handles herself in those awkward trying times."

To which Meier replied: "I think her background as an actress probably helps her. I think she keeps her cool.

"I can't even imagine what the pressure would feel like in that moment and being booed. I think she handled herself beautifully".

Meier continued her praise for Markle, saying: "I think, you know, looking at the footage and looking at the photos, it can't be easy. You know, taking it in and realising she's technically on a stage in so many ways.

"[And] maybe it's using what she learned [as an actress] and how-to, you know, keep her composure that really kept her looking calm and cool, even if she didn't feel it.

"I thought she did fantastically."

The appearance at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marked one of their first appearances together in the UK ever since they left their duties to the Royal Family behind in January 2020, Daily Express reported.
