Man not expected to survive Aurora rollover crash involving 7 vehicles, home

A man is not expected to survive after being ejected from his car into another vehicle during a rollover crash that saw his Chevrolet Monte Carlo hit four other parked vehicles and a home on North Havana Street in Aurora on Saturday night.

Officers responded to the crash at 777 N. Havana St. at 11:45 p.m., according to a news release from Aurora police, with the driver transported to University of Colorado Hospital. He was listed in critical condition as of early Sunday morning.

Nobody else was injured in the crash, Aurora Police Sgt. Gregory Garcia said, and alcohol appeared to be a factor.

The driver, who was not identified by authorities, was traveling at a high rate of speed when his Monte Carlo hit the four other vehicles parked in the driveways of their respective residences, Sgt. Garcia said.

A total of seven vehicles were involved in the crash, with the Monte Carlo coming to a rest after it hit the corner of a home, Garcia said. The driver hit another vehicle upon being ejected from his car and parts of the Monte Carlo hit another vehicle parked in the area.
