A huge fire has broken out in Le Havre, France, with hundreds of people being evacuated from their homes.
In a statement on Twitter, local police reported there are huge clouds of smoke being seen rising above the scene.
The force said the fire started in an abandoned building in the large northern French port city of Le Havre.
About twenty police officers are on site, as well as 70 firefighters. 25 vehicles are engaged, authorities reported on Twitter.
There are currently no victims, Paris-Normandy reports being told by a police source.
