Meghan Markle ’s pal Jessica Mulroney has lashed out at claims that the pair have fallen out.

The stylist, 40, from Toronto in Canada, got ino a row with black social media star Sasha Exeter earlier this year.

It led to Mulroney, who met Markle during her time on Suits, being accused of "textbook white privilege".

Meghan was reportedly ”mortified" by the incident and branded it "tone-deaf and heartbreaking".

In a new post, which was published on her Instagram story at the weekend, Jessica wrote: “I’m going to tell this once and for all. Meghan and I are family.

“She is the kindest friend and has checked up on me every day.

“Tabloid culture is atrocious. It creates lies and hurtful storylines. Stop feeding into it. Done.”

Sasha asked why Jessica never used her platform to promote Black Lives Matter, as she was “very vocal” about other causes.

Jessica replied that she had "had spoken to companies" about the way the influencer had "unfairly" treated her.

Sasha saw the remark as a “threat” to her livelihood and Jessica issued a public apology after losing jobs on bridal show I Do, Redo and ABC’s Good Morning America.

Sasha claims Jessica then threatened her with a lawsuit “behind closed doors”.

At the time, a source told MailOnline: “Meghan is absolutely mortified that she's been dragged into this complete mess.

“She said Jessica is in no way a racist, but the way she handled the situation [with Sasha] was tone-deaf and heartbreaking.

“Meghan said friends reflect friends and because of what's at stake she can no longer be associated with Jessica, at least not in public.”

Jessica dismissed the claims and branded them “fake news” earlier this month.

Just weeks ago, she deleted a throwback picture of one of her twin sons at Meghan’s royal wedding to Prince Harry.

Jessica later clarified: “People often ask why I delete certain posts. The amount of bullying and hatred I've had to put up with for three years…I'm tired of looking at it. Be kind. Be gracious.

“We are grown ups…stop acting like teenagers. Real women don't put down other women.”
