Inside love life of Russian propagandist Dmitry Kiselyov and his eight wives

Vladimir Putin's nuclear war-hungry propagandist Dmitry Kiselyov is largely known for making terrifying threats of World War Three and most recently warned Brits that Russia could drown them in a 'radioactive tidal wave.'

But back in Russia, the 68-year-old TV anchor is something of a player – which has landed him in a lot of hot water in his political career.

The warmonger is currently married to Maria, who is his eighth wife since he seemingly became obsessed with taking women down the aisle after first getting married when he was 17.

His first wife was named Alena, they met when they were studying together on the same course at a medical school.

Their romance seemed to be written in the stars as they had the exact same birthday – but like most young loves, it didn't last.

He quickly forgot his first wife when he moved to St. Petersburg and fell in love with another classmate named Natalya. However, the marriage was short-lived as the pair were divorced a year later.

He has married again, for the third time before he turned 23 to another student, Tatyana, from the same university – but they also broke up very quickly.

After he graduated and embarked on his career in Russian State TV, he married again to his four wife, Elena, who gave birth to his son, Gleb.

But the family unit broke down within a year after the father fell in love with another woman, Natalya, who became – you guessed it – his fifth wife.

Natalya stuck by him during some hard times as in 1995, his car fell into the river at full speed with him at the wheel.

He was hospitalised with a broken spine – an injury that could have disabled him for life, but he managed to make a full recovery and even opened up his own stables to start horse riding.

And so it seems, as soon as he was well enough, he got back to his old tricks and two years later he was divorced from his wife and in love with a British woman named Kelly Richdale, she became his sixth wife.

The pair met when they were in the US for work and Kelly was said to be "so impressed" by the "Russian bear" but he believed she looked down on him and the Russian people and so filed for divorce.

His seventh marriage was to a woman named Olga in 2000. The couple built a house together and seemed to live a charming life until he got a bitter taste of his own medicine.

Olga fell in love with another man and filed for divorce, citing to divide the property they owned together, in 2004.

But heartbreak has no room in the life of a man like Dmitry, who met his current wife, Maria the following year.

Maria already had a son named Fedya when she married him, but the couple went on to have two children together, a son, Konstantin, and later, a daughter, Varvara.

The happy couple now shares a happy life in the suburbs and own a Scandinavian-style house with a small mill in the yard – so, eighth time is a charm.
