Prince Harry will remain “unreachable” for Prince William and Prince Charles until William apologises for a past warning about his relationship with Meghan Markle, a royal commentator has claimed.
Harry quit royal duties with his wife Meghan in early 2020, having met in early 2016 when they were introduced by a mutual friend.
The pair quickly married in a celebrity-packed ceremony in Windsor, but their relationship with the royal institution has reportedly deteriorated since moving to the US.
In an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple levelled a number of accusations at the royals, with Harry claiming he felt "trapped" and Meghan accusing the Firm of failing to support her mental health struggles.
Now, royal commentator Neil Sean has suggested that the alleged falling-out may stem back to comments William made about Harry’s early relationship with the former actress.
“As we know, way back at the very beginning of Prince Harry ’s courtship with the actress Meghan Markle, Prince William dared to suggest that he may wish to slow it down,” Neil began, speaking on his YouTube channel.
William’s own relationship with Kate Middleton was slow-moving; the couple famously broke up in 2007 before finally marrying in 2011.
So, Neil suggested that William pointed out to Harry that it was crucial he made the correct choice for a “life partner”.
“Now, according to a very good source, allegedly, Prince Harry got very upset at this insinuation that perhaps he wasn’t making the correct choices, and that truly was the stem of the argument,” the royal commentator continued.
And, with the two brothers having allegedly fallen out since Harry made the contentious decision to step back from royal duties, Neil suggested that this past dispute is still influencing the pair’s relationship.
He continued: “Prince William really feels that whatever he says, Prince Harry will take it as antagonistic, create an argument, explode.
“For Prince William and for Catherine, it’s very sad because they enjoyed a very good close relationship with Prince Harry.
“But according to that source, Prince Harry seemingly does not want to patch things up, kiss and make up until Prince William allegedly apologises for those comments all those years ago.”
Neil speculated that this might be revealed in the Duke of Sussex’s memoir, which is set for release later this year.

And, in the near future, Neil claimed: “Prince Charles and Prince William have resigned themselves to the fact that Prince Harry is unreachable right now, and certainly for some time to come.
“So as for the brothers re-connecting, re-patching and seemingly getting it on, even at the forthcoming memorial for the former wonderful Duke of Edinburgh in April at Westminster Abbey, that seems far out of reach.”
This comes as another expert has claimed that the Royal Family fear that a planned Service of Thanksgiving for Prince Philip could become the “Harry and Meghan” show if they attend the ceremony in Spring.
Daily Star has contacted Harry’s representatives for comment.
