Harry and Meghan will ruin King Charles coronation by attending, expert says

Royal experts believe Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will "ruin" King Charles III’s coronation if they attend.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received an invite, however, it has not been confirmed whether they will fly back to the UK.

But author Tom Bower claimed King Charles is a “weak man” and fears his youngest son attending could be too much for the monarch.

Speaking to GB News, the royal commentator people were "sick" of Harry and Meghan and would prefer they steer clear of the momentous occasion.

According to The Mirror, Bower said: "His problem is that he is a weak man in a way and he's worried about Harry.

"If only he said to Harry, look, come to the coronation, but you can have row Q, seat 54 and viewers partly obscured by a column, then the message will get through.

"But I think if he allows Harry to come to the coronation, it is going to ruin the coronation. It'll be overshadowed by Harry's presence and Meghan's too.

"So I think Charles has to make a decision now. The King has to decide and I think that people are on the whole getting sick to death of Harry.

"I think his behaviour now is going to irritate people again. People will be sick to death of him, hopefully very soon."

According to sources, whether Harry and Meghan attend rests on one simple demand.

It is understood Harry wants a summit with King Charles and Prince William to discuss their issues.

A source said: "Harry has been very clear and his position hasn't wavered – he isn’t going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral.

"He's said he wants to reconcile with his family and it’s their call, but so far nothing has changed."
