Four teenage girls bash man and woman in head using bottle and crutch on bus

    A man ended up in hospital after four teenage girls allegedly attacked him with a crutch on the top of a double-decker bus.

    Police have released CCTV images in the hope that members of the public will come forward to help them find the suspects, who supposedly committed the crime as the bus passed through Croydon in South London late at night during the summer last year.

    The four girls, described as aged in their mid to late teens, were allegedly seen harassing a man and a woman on the bus.

    MyLondon reports that a woman was hit in the head with a bottle. But despite her attempts to escape, the suspects followed her, before they switched their attention to a man sitting next to her.

    According toThe Mirror, after the assault, the group of girls hopped off.

    The incident took place at the rear of the 250 bus from Streatham to Croydon at 12:30 AM on August 28 in 2022 at the vicinity of Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath.

    In a bid for justice, the police are encouraging anyone who can identify the women in the images or possesses any information that could lead to their arrest, to do their utmost to help proceedings by calling 101 or tweeting @MetCC and quote CAD235/28Aug2022.
