Break out those neon-colored sunglasses, Denverites. This weekend’s weather is going to bring sunny skies and warmer temperatures.
Saturday’s forecast calls for a high near 78 degrees and a low around 48, according to the National Weather Service. Sunday is expected to bring a high of 83 degrees and a low near 51. The mountains will see cooler weather.
Both days in Denver are likely to have light and variable winds and clear evening skies. The National Weather Service in Boulder told people to expect a “pleasant weekend.”

While this may be good news for those who aren’t quite ready for fall, it doesn’t bode as well for the state’s wildfires and drought.
The next chance of showers and thunderstorms in Denver is forecast for Friday, according to the weather service.
