A young woman who died in a horror crash may have been chased off the road by an Albanian drug gang over a fake debt, according to a source.
Amy-Rose Wilson is believed to be an “innocent victim” who got caught up in the deadly smash on Saturday (July 29) at around 6.10pm.
The 27-year-old was driving with her 22-year-old boyfriend Ryan Paterson when they attempted to flee the altercation in their silver Vauxhall Vectra.

The pair were chased by a black Mercedes C-Class down Foundry Street in Falkirk for half a mile before the Vauxhall flew off the road and smashed into trees.
Police Scotland are investigating Amy’s death as suspicious, and launched a murder investigation.
Officers are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
It is understood boyfriend Ryan suffered injuries, as did a 39-year-old man driving a black Volkswagen Tiguan.
An insider told The Sun: “Amy was an innocent victim in this. A gang of Albanians are said to have been owed a lot of money and came looking for it.
“It was nothing to do with Amy. They've been trying to get the money for months and we all knew something really bad would end up happening.”

The publication also claimed that the young couple were “stalked” in a similar chase several weeks ago.
It is understood that the two chases were not the same people.
Reflecting on the pursuit in April, Amy-rose said on social media at the time: “I just drove as normal, I'm not bothered by their childish behaviour & games. They will get bored and move on.”
Ryan – who is understood to still be in hospital – added: “They're actually stalking me sitting at the end of the street.”

Earlier on Monday (July 31), a friend of Amy-rose told MailOnline how they were on the phone together at the time of Saturday's car chase.
They said: “Amy had text saying 'need to come round asap' – and then she phoned me, she told this newspaper. I could hear loads of shouting in the background and Ryan telling her to 'get in the f****** car and drive'.”
She added: “My heart was in my mouth, I knew right away that it was Amy and Ryan. I got in my car and drove to New Carron Road, but it was all taped off by police so I couldn't really see what cars were involved”.
Fighting back tears, Amy's friend said she was finding it hard to come to terms with what has happened and has described her as one in a million.
